The Abington Board of School Directors has announced Board honors and orientations on the agenda for its June 8, 2021, meeting as follows:

The Abington Board of School Directors (the “Board”) shall conduct its regularly scheduled June 8, 2021 meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Board Room of the Abington School District Administration Building, located at 970 Highland Avenue, Abington, PA, 19001. Public attendance is welcome. Due to the current disaster emergency declared by Governor Wolf by Proclamation dated March 6, 2020, most recently renewed on May 20, 2021, and in consideration of the health and safety of the school community, this meeting is also being broadcast via a YouTube live stream on the Abington School District YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/AbingtonSchoolDistrict/live).
Comments from Citizens will be conducted in-person and live through the zoom platform. A link to join the meeting to participate in public comment will be provided on the screen, as well as on the District website at the time of public comment. You will also be able to join the meeting by calling in on your mobile or landline phone. Please watch the livestream of the meeting on the District YouTube channel for specific information on participating in public comment. Ahead of the meeting, you can download zoom onto your computer or phone and test your audio (there will be no video for public comment).
The meeting shall be recorded and accessible on the District’s website and cable channel–posted no later than Friday, June 11, 2021–to allow those members of the public who cannot participate to review the proceeding at a later time.
